Lila Louesdon was born and raised in Paris. She studied cinema in Montreal and graduated in Film Productions in 2021. She then co-directed the feature film Waiting for Kairos (Audience's Choice for the Lift Off New Filmmaker Festival 2024) and worked on different short fiction film as first assistant of the director and production manager. Specializing in film photography, she has honed the craft of analog imagery, finding beauty in the texture, grain, and authenticity that film provides. This commitment to traditional techniques is balanced by a modern sensibility, allowing her to create images that feel both timeless and contemporary. Now based in Bruxelles, she explores the documentary form through both photography and moving images. With a deep focus on storytelling, she is dedicated to capturing the present moment and crystallizing the essence of real-life experiences.
